THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE: TALK ABOUT IT
TED Talk by Katharine Hayhoe, January, 2019.  "How do you talk to someone who doesn't believe in climate change?  In this updated, inspiring, pragmatic talk, Hayhoe shows how the key to having a real discussion is to connect over shared values like family, community and religion -- and to prompt people to realize that they already care about a changing climate.  "We can't give in to despair," she says.  "We have to go out and look for the hope we need to inspire us to act -- and that hope begins with a conversation, today." taken from comments section of the TED talk.

HOW TO MAKE RADICAL CLIMATE ACTION THE NEW NORMAL
Nobel laureate Al Gore provides us this update to the climate problem in this TED talk from October 2021.  "A net-zero future is possible, but first we need to flip a mental switch to truly understand that we can stop the climate crisis if we try, says Nobel laureate Al Gore.  "In this inspiring and essential talk Gore shares examples of extreme climate events (think: fires, floods and atmospheric tsunamis), identifies the man-made systems holding us back from progress and invites us all to join the movement for climate justice.  "The biggest emergent social movement in all of history," as he puts it.  An unmissable tour de force on the current state of the crisis -- and the transformations that will make it possible to find a way out of it." from the "about the talk" section of the TED talk.

  1. One fine set of videos to which we might post here is the series of lectures by the Lausanne Movement on Christian Creation Care. We could consider it a mini-course.
